He penned in the caption: 'JAM'in @sandals_uk #Gifted @trendingtravel #SandalsSouthCoast.'
The Sandals South Coast resort is an all-inclusive venue that offers guests the use of four pools, tennis court, gym and nine restaurants.
It is situated in Whitehouse, Jamaica which has some 4,000 residents and is known traditionally for its fishing industry, which provides fresh seafood to businesses across Jamaica.
It comes after Layton revealed the moment he began to embrace his sexuality and come out as gay.
The West End star moved to London to star as Billy Elliot in 2007 before portraying Kylie Parkinson in BBC Series Beautiful People which first aired in 2008.
Layton appeared on The One Show recently and credited his teachers for making him comfortable enough to be his true self.
The One Show were celebrating Teachers' Week, and co-host Alex Jones said: 'Layton, of course, Bad Education. You're in that playing a teacher.'
Layton interjected: 'Potentially the worst teacher ever.'

'I wasn't going to say that, but you've said it.' Alex joked, before asking Layton: 'Have there been teachers that have inspired you, there must have, along the way?'
Layton replied: 'Yeah, I think when I first moved to London. I had a couple of teachers who were just like very openly out there and happily gay and fabulous and it was the first time I'd ever seen that as a young boy.
'So, I was a bit like "Oh my god, you seem happy and also fabulous, I might try that."
'That just got me to come out of my shell a bit more, and you know, jump out the closet, quite frankly.'
'So, it was lovely. You don't realise how them tiny little bits of representation can be quite meaningful.'
Layton finished: 'Shout out to Matt and Damian. Love yas.'(sic).
Last year Layton starred on Strictly Come Dancing on the BBC with his partner Nikita Kuzmin.
